Museum of Love - Monotronic (Vídeo)

DFA Records has just released the video for Museum of Love's single 'Monotronic'. The duo, consisting of Pat Mahoney (founding member and drummer of LCD Soundsystem) and Dennis McNany (aka Jee Day) has already released two tracks, both with a welcome awkwardness inscribed into their electronic genetic imprints. While 'Monotronic' builds up at a constant pace and intentional monotonous singing, the visceral 'Down South' is a dark chop of techno with scary elements of nu-disco and barb wire synths.

They're currently working on their first album, with Dennis writing the music and Pat doing the vocal work, but they also had the time to feature in a song of Shit Robot's new album, 'We Got a Love' (read Opus Sound review to that record).

The video for 'Monotronic', directed and produced by Andrew Dresher, shows the duo playing a tiresome match of racquetball, sweat dripping from their faces, and then resting in a sauna, with dull looks.

Stay tuned for some more work from Museum of Love.
